Background
Bridge Community Church began through the vision of two churches. Understanding that the Church ultimately exists in order to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with the world (Eph 3:10,11), the leadership of these churches recognized a shared vision for reaching our larger community. After much prayer and discussion, both churches believed they could be more effective in fulfilling their mission by working together than by working apart. The result was the birth of Bridge Community Church.
BCC is currently ‘under construction’ as we are in the process of renovating our permanent facility with an anticipated completion date in the fall of ‘09. This is an exciting time in the history of our church and we invite you to follow our progress by checking out the information on this site. We’ve excited about our future, knowing greater things are in store for our church and our community.
BCC 2009 Renovation Milestones
- March: Integration Documents Completed
- May
- Working drawings completed
- Plans Submitted to township for review
- June
- Project financing approved
- Children's wing renovation begun
- July
- General Contractor selected
- All permits and approvals secured for addition.
- GC work started 7/19.
- October
- All interior work on schedule to be completed 10/5.
- Move-in begins: 10/10.
- First Sunday Gathering: 10/25.
