Our Mission (Why we exist)

Bridge Community Church exists to transform our community by demonstrating the life-changing hope that is found through having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

"His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Ephesians 3:10-11

Our Values (What matters most to us)

We are committed to the following five (5) values because we believe they are the key building blocks in helping us achieve our mission:

Biblical Truth

We believe the Bible is the source of truth that renews our minds and aligns our lives to God's will.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Unconditional Love

All of the biblical commandments can be expressed through the way we love God and love others. Demonstrating the love of Christ to others is the way Jesus said the world will know we are His followers.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:37-40)

"By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35)

Investing in Others

We invest our time, talents and treasures as an expression of thanksgiving to God for what we've been given and to allow Him to use us in His plan to show others His love.

"But just as you excel in everything - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us - see that you also excel in this grace of giving." (2 Corinthians 8:7)

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke 6:38)

Living in Community

Throughout the Bible, followers of Christ are called to live in genuine community with others. Jesus prayed that we would be one as He is one with God the Father and we are encouraged to continue meeting together in order to spur each other on to good deeds and love.

"I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." (John 17:22-23)

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Devotion to Prayer

We believe God is personal and desires to be actively involved in our lives. Through prayer, we can nurture a deeper relationship with Him.

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." (Jeremiah 33:3)

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)
